Troubleshooting

Note: You can find extra information in the main menu of the application . Select "Help" > "Troubleshooting".

Problem 1. Index file does not match the table
Problem 2. Printer error before printing
Problem 3. MICR font doesn’t print correctly

Problem 1: Index file does not match the table

Note: If you still have the same error after you have Rebuild the indexes and done the Transfer files update you will have to recover from your most recent backup.

Normally this error is caused by a PC failure, a network failure, PC stop when printing, someone did a Ctrl-Alt-Del on the PC, etc... To resolve the problem you will have to Rebuild the indexes and do the Transfer files update.

Problem 2: Printer error before printing

The printer for the project you are trying to print from are not properly set. Perform one of the two following actions:

Printers configuration (global) [ Flash | Executable ]
Printers configuration (by project) [ Flash | Executable ]

Problem 3: MICR font doesn’t print correctly

Normally this error is when the application is reinstall on another PC.

Close the InterLaser 6 application
Go in the BINLASER6 folder
Double click on the FONTSOCX.EXE program

If this doesn’t work, probably due to a Windows security.

Close the InterLaser 6 application
Uninstall the BINAMICR.TTF font in the WINDOWS\FONTS folder
Go in the BINLASER6\ICONS\FONTS folder
Copy and install the BINAMICR.TTF file in the WINDOWS\FONTS folder
